What is The Cedar Shack?  

The Cedar Shack began in 2017 as a single-family homestead on undeveloped land surrounded by cedar trees in Lebanon, Ohio. While walking the land for the first time, God provided a vision of a sanctuary dedicated to adoption, healing and restoration. The Cedar Shack has grown to include a dairy farm with sheep, chickens, rows of lavender, a you pick flower garden, large greenhouse & gift shop. East Frisian sheep provide milk for our moisturizing soaps, as well as a peaceful one-of-a-kind encounter for visitors to the farm.

Our products include 100% grass-fed whipped lamb-tallow, luxury lotions, natural deodorant & lip balms. All of our products are free of chemicals, dyes & perfumes and carefully made with the intention to promote health, healing & enjoyment. The Cedar Shack offers a wide variety of functional loose leaf teas that comprise our “Fruit of the Spirit” tea collection. We partner with a farm in Kagoshima, Japan to offer some of the world’s cleanest & best-tasting ceremonial-grade matcha. The Cedar Shack specializes in gifts for any occasion, with the option to customize gift boxes for loved ones & friends. 

Finally, the Cedar Shack farm is home to a private cabin overlooking a 5-acre lake that serves as a free retreat for pastors and leaders through our non-profit organization Restoring Hearts International (RHI). The day retreat provides a place for rest, prayer and reconnection with our First Love. RHI offers free massage, rest and meals on a weekly basis to those in need as well as a free art room in our downtown Lebanon location. RHI also provides groceries, hot meals, diapers, wipes and infant formula to 150+ people in need though monthly outreach.  When you shop with The Cedar Shack, proceeds from all sales support Restoring Hearts International.
